⇒ used to express one's categorical refusal to do sth., tolerate sth., allow s.o. to do sth. etc, or to express one's strong conviction that another is mistaken:

- you've <he's etc> got to be kidding;

- no way!;

- nothing doing!;

- thanks but no thanks;

- forget it!;

- [when one leaves a person or situation one can no longer tolerate](it's) pardon me and that's that.
